First Place: Nusaybah Shahid
Nusaybah Shahid is a Palestinian artist based in Philadelphia. You can follow her work on her website https://nusaybahshahid.com/
SECOND PLACE: Sireen amra
Sireen Amra is a Palestinian college student studying Political Science and English. She is a local mutual aid organizer who works to end all forms of structural violence.
THIRD PLACE: Nahed elrayes
Nahed Elrayes is a 25 year-old composer, pianist and writer whose family is from Gaza, Palestine.
His recent works include the Mahmoud Darwish-based composition A Lover from Palestine, performed and filmed in collaboration with dozens of Palestinians across the globe, a Meanjin Quarterly reflection on Gaza and the War on Terror, and a Masters thesis on Bourdieusian identity conflict in Lebanon, which earned the University of Melbourne's 2020 W.M. Ball Prize for best graduate essay in International Relations.
